• Difference between conventional IVF and Mini IVF

  Conventional IVF requires the daily administration of high dosages of injections. Whereas in Mini IVF, majorly oral medications are given with only 3-4 injections for forming eggs from the ovary. These are then collected, fertilized with sperm and the embryos so formed are frozen(vitrified). This is repeated for 2-3 cycles till we get adequate embryos to thaw(defreeze) and transfer.

  Mini IVF is a very successful way of making older women pregnant with their own eggs. It focuses on the quality of eggs instead of the number of eggs.
